In some of my recent changes, I set my blog to contact reporting services and notify them my blog has been updated. I also opted not to enable comment verification because I’ve never had a problem with comment spam here at blogspot. I got 2 of these less than 30 seconds after my last post:

Mike emailed me a real estate listing he saw on craigslist this morning. Our own apartment is listed!
It’s no secret to us that Sam, our landlord, doesn’t want the store he has on the first floor. He’s been looking to rent out his store for a while now, but we had no idea he was looking to sell!
A few hours later I’m talking to Mike about it and we’re still really pissed about what happened with our last real estate experience and don’t want anything shitty to happy again.
So I’m searching around, looking at the craigslist ad, and I realize it’s from a Fillmore broker. I go to Fillmore.com and start searching. Found it!
Notice the blurb: “Investors, your Golden Opportunity starts here, in the heart of Boro Park. This fully vacant corner property comes with two stores and two 2 bedroom apartments, full unfinished basement. Agents, this seller is very motivated!”
Ummm… oh shit.
UPDATE: Sam never called up this realtor to cancel selling the place after we moved in. He’s just ignoring them now.
